Really dislike Walmart

This morning, I made a quick trip into Walmart to pick up some Parents Choice diapers. I know, I know there are too many good sales for Pampers and Huggies but I havent gone through my coupons this morning. The price on the counter was 4.97 but rang up for 6.24. I told her what the price was and she just looked at me and said well, I will have to do a price check and I dont need to leave. Okay so just go and get the dang price. I take her back and she sees and said oh...Then she calls a manager, what do I do? Give it to her for that price. Duh...Just think of everyone who went to buy it and paid 6.24 instead of making a scene about it.

Shopping today

Today was a good day shopping. I went to CVS and got 2 Biotrue solutions, 6 Right Guard Total Defense, 3 Xtra laundry detergent, Huggies diapers, small diaper wipes for 8.21 oop.

Kroger was the mega event this week and I scored really good. I got 280 worth of groceries and paid 140.83. I also got a 5.00 cataline, a redbox free rental, and I also have a tmf with Kelloggs cinnabons.

Happy 6 months old !!

Today my grandson is 6 months old. It is hard to believe that 6 months ago today, this little bundle of joy came into our lives.

Walgreens and CVS yesterday

Went to Walgreens yesterday. Did fairly good. Bought U by Kotex pads, liners, and pads, 2 gummy worms, 2 gummy bears, 2 NB vitamin D, schick hydro razor, 2 Colgate Pro Clinical toothpaste 2 Geisha mushrooms and several more things but cant remember. Paid 12.50 out of pocket saved 60.75. Plan on going back later this week.

CVS didnt do as well. They were out of the 4.99 Halle perfume and the Thermacare. I did get rainchecks for both of them though. Will get them later. I bought 2 Schick Hydro shaving gel, 2 Rimmell eyeshadows and 2 Rimmell eyeliner. Paid 9.53 out of pocket and have 3.80 in extra bucks for next time. Planning on going back later this week.

New year changes

Since my last post a lot has happened in my house. I was in the ER Jan. 2 for vertigo and couldn't drive for a couple of weeks because of the medicine I was on. On Jan. 4, my 16 year old daughter tripped over one of our dogs and fell on the carport and broke her arm in 2 places. A trip to the er for that and morphine for a couple of days. Then appt with orthopedic surgeon two days later. Surgery recommended for her arm. Not sure about that since she was pregnant at the time but we decided to go ahead and do it. 3 days in the hospital for that. 9 days later get her stitches out and appt with ob. she had already dilated 1 cm and was 80% effaced. 2 days later her water broke and we had to go to the hospital. I feel like all the pain meds she was on kept her pain down. It was surprising that she wasn't in any pain the entire time. Landon Ray was born on Jan. 16 at 12:35 p.m. He wound up in NICU for 8 days as he was 5 weeks early. He is now doing real good and has gained 5 lbs in 2 months. January was a rough month but I have just been chugging along trying to get the best deals that I can..
